My Story
When I was 12 and my Gran bought me my first camera, I remember the excitement of capturing a moment in time and preserving it forever. It was magical to me and became my passion and the start of my photography journey.
In my early years of working, I followed a successful career in London as Fine Art Broker and Underwriter at Lloyd’s of London. After the birth of my second child, it soon became clear that my work life balance needed to change. I gave up the City and, once my children started full time school, I set about planning the next chapter of a new career adventure.
It took a good few years learning and practicing my craft as an amateur ‘Mum photographer’. Eventually, I qualified as a Professional Portrait Photographer specialising in Families, Newborn and Children. In 2015 I had the opportunity to open my first studio in The Village Arcade, Station Road, Chingford. I was now a local business owner!!
With support from my family, friends and local people of Chingford, I’m proud to say it has been the best thing I’ve ever done. I continue to train professionally and I’m proud to say, I’ve now won several awards for my work.

Babies
The most wonderful way to welcome your new baby and cherish the earliest memories forever. This specialist session can be booked for a newborn when baby is between 5-15 days new.
If you miss those early days, book as baby’s first shoot session. Both include use of all my beautiful props and are relaxed session for your family and siblings. Baby’s safety is my top priority. I hold an industry recognised newborn safety certificate for your peace of mind.
Cherubs
This is a very popular watch me grow style session. You visit my studio 3 times for mini sessions with baby in the first year of life starting from 12 weeks. We capture the milestones of that very important first year of development and you receive a beautiful framed wall art to keep. Images may be purchased at every session.
Corporate Headshots
More than ever, people in business now recognise the necessity to have professional portrait images on their website and social media profiles. I have packages to suit small and larger businesses. I am able to travel to companies with 5 or more employees or you may come to the studio.
Schools
I have a number of local pre-schools and nurseries on my books and over the years, I’ve loved watching children I’ve photographed as babies, enter the formal years of education. It’s helpful for the children who also recognise me at their school and give me their best smiles.
Doorstep Covid-19 Portraits
This has been my greatest achievement through the lockdown period. Creating a unique piece of social history documenting your family on their doorsteps during the Pandemic Lockdown months. I’ve raised over £500 for Haven House Children’s Hospice doing this project.
Passports
I offer full passport service printed whilst you wait or if you prefer, digital images also available.
We came to Nicky after several local mums suggested her for baby photoshoot. She has a lovely little studio and was very welcoming. She took out my little boy and made us feel at home and relaxed. We loved the experience and got some beautiful lasting images. The printed copies we got were presented beautifully in a presentation box and very good quality. Will definitely be using again.
